What It Treats
Our laser system can treat a broad array of vascular issues including visible blood vessels, port wine stains, hyperpigmentation, angiomas, venous lake, and broken capillaries.
How It Works
During vascular treatment, targeted wavelengths allow your treatment provider to minimize redness and treat problem areas without damaging the surrounding skin. As pigmented areas are treated with light, they coagulate and eventually dissipate to reduce redness. Red blood cells and dark areas of pigment are easily targeted and naturally eliminated by the body to restore your natural skin tone.
Pre Treatment
Please avoid sun tanning or sun exposure for 2-4 weeks prior to treatment.
Please advise your treatment provider if you are currently undergoing Accutane treatment or have undergone a similar drug treatment plan within the last six months, or if you are undergoing gold therapy.
If you are a male client with facial hair, you’ll need to shave the target area before treatment. Some antbiotics and skin creams containing retinol or hyaluronic acid shouldn’t be used before treatment – we’ll provide you with more details prior to your treatment.
If you are new to this treatment, please book a "Spot Treatment" at least 24 hours before your appointment (72 hours for skin type 5). We will spot test to ensure you do not negatively react.
Post Treatment
Little downtime is needed, but recovery will depend on the type of treatment and the severity of your concerns. Please avoid sun exposure and use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a high SPF. Avoid excessively hot showers, spas, or saunas for several days following treatment.
Compression stockings may be worn for three to five days post leg vein treatment, if desired. You’ll also want to avoid high impact activity (running, jumping, heavy weights) for three to five days after leg vein treatments. Use gentle, non-irritating products after facial vein treatments – we’re happy to help you find products that won’t irritate your skin.
